According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russia has already stationed its first batch of tactical nuclear weapons in Belarus.

Putin stated at a gathering that these weapons would only be used to defend Russian territory or the Russian state.

According to the US administration, there is no evidence that the Kremlin intends to strike Ukraine with nuclear weapons.

Immediately following Putin’s remarks, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated, “We see no indication that Russia is preparing to use nuclear weapons.”

By the end of the summer, according to Putin, the transfer of tactical nuclear weapons will be finished.

Following his speech at the International Economic Forum in St. Petersburg, Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to queries by saying that this move is intended to warn anybody “who thinks to cause us strategic losses.”

When questioned if these weapons may be used, Putin responded, “Why should we threaten the entire world?

I’ve already stated that only when the Russian state is under jeopardy would drastic actions be possible.

Small nuclear bombs known as tactical nuclear weapons can be employed on the battlefield or in limited assaults. They are meant to eliminate enemy targets in specified locations without producing significant radioactive leakage.

A tactical nuclear bomb can range in size from one kiloton or less to ten kilotons.

Invasion of Ukraine by Russia began in February of the previous year. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Kiev would not engage in dialogue with Moscow as long as Russian forces are still occupying territory inside of Ukraine.
