Hungary’s Sweden NATO Vote Stalls Over Boycott

The Hungarian Parliament’s extraordinary meeting, convened by the opposition, was unable to vote on the admission of Sweden to NATO after a faction of the FIDESZ – Hungarian Civil Alliance ruling party and their Christian Democrats junior partners boycotted the meeting

As a result, there were not enough votes to achieve a quorum to approve the agenda backing Stockholm’s NATO membership bid.
